Natalie Eslick

is a wildlife artist from the Central Coast of NSW creating highly detailed works that explore the profound connections between humans and the natural world.

Through meticulously rendered portraits of wildlife in pencil and paint, Natalie invites viewers to recognise themselves in the eyes and expressions of our wild kin. Her work speaks to the deep ancestral bonds between human and non-human animals, challenging the notion of separation from nature that pervades modern life. Each piece is an act of reverence, documenting not just physical likeness but the shared consciousness that connects all living beings.  As an Associate Member of Artists for Conservation, her artistic practice serves as both a celebration of and call to protect our wild relatives. Her interest in mythic imagination and the power of folklore and ancestral knowledge led to her illustrations being featured in Sharon Blackie's bestselling book 'Hagitude', where she visually articulates the inspiring women of European myth and folklore and their deep connection to nature. Through her art, Natalie answers her calling to reconnect wild-hearted humans with nature, bringing the wild inside both hearts and homes, creating moments of recognition and remembrance that remind viewers of their own inherent connection to the natural world.
